Def Repplica

HP: Hello, we're here with the members of Def Repplica. Before we get started I want to say you guys look and sound great!

Dane: Bloody Ell !Thanks! You don't look so bad yourself, thanks for giving us this interview.

HP: So who are you and where do you guys come from?

Dane: We are THE Def Leppard tribute band hailing from Minneapolis, Minnesota.

HP: Why Def Leppard and not another band to pay tribute to?

Dane: We all love Def Leppard and have been big fans for many years, and make it a point to see their show every time they come around. I don't think people remember but in both the early and late 80's they were the biggest rock band in the world. They received the diamond award from the RIAA , meaning they sold in excess of 10 million albums not once, but twice. A feat very few bands then or now have accomplished.

Sean: That and the chicks! I love girls!!!

Doug: Yeah mate, I have to admit I like having women at our shows!

Dane : OK, there is that too. But it's purely from a marketing point of view.

HP: (sarcasm) Yeah right...... So do you guys all get along well with each other, what's the dish on that?

Dane: There seems to be a natural flow between us and we all tend to go in the same direction with decisions, the direction that makes sense. The only flack is usually from Doug.

Doug: I disagree!

Dave (smirking) : See what Dane means?

Doug: But we definitely have a mutual drive and a huge respect for each other, even if we don't agree on everything, which only pertains to creative ideas like logo designs and such things of artistic perception.

Ray: Yes, but we are a very diplomatic band. Majority vote wins. And its usually Sean that breaks any ties.

Sean: Cool thing about being a five piece! I think the main thing we all agree on is that I like girls. (Everyone laughs, obviously an inside joke.)

HP: Speaking of girls, why do you think your fan base is predominantly female?

Doug: Because of our big......

Dane (interrupts): Noses.

Ray: Always with the nose..

Doug: Hey, just because you have a cute little male model nose, bastard!

HP: You all are quite good looking and appear in great shape. You all must workout?

Doug: Nah... (as he flexes a pose and starts laughing.)

Dane: Thanks, again. Putting on the high energy, visually stimulating show that Def Leppard did is a great workout in itself for us, we have great chemistry and there is a lot of movement going on between us mates.

Dave: I think I'm having a movement of sort from that pitch... (Doug leans on Dave's shoulder, continues laughing.)

Ray: We aim to give the visual appearance of a Def Leppard show as well as sound like them.

Sean: I get my workout from "tossing blokes". I'm a bouncer for a gentlemen's club on the side, hey what do you expect? I love girls! Have I mentioned that?

HP: Ok Sean, I get the feeling you really like girls..(now, I get the inside joke). Well, since we are kind of floating around this subject, what do you guys like best about women?

Dane (breaks into song): "Hair, eyes, skin on skin!"

Rest of Def Rep: "Legs, thighs, what's that spell, what's that spell?"

HP: Clever, clever boys... seriously, what do you boys prefer in your "woman of doom"?

Dane: Hey, your pretty clever yourself there! Personally we like women of all shape and sizes. Hair and eye color don't make a bit of difference. Some guys are legs or bum guys while others love the...you know (makes breast gesture with his hands). Speaking for myself, I guess I'm a leg man.

Doug: Yeah I concur, I'm a leg man too, no wait, I actually prefer where they meet.

Dave: Oh great, he went there! Ha ha.

Sean: I'm all about the bum!

Terror-able Twins (simultaneously): we know.

HP: Ha ha, all together...

Dave: No, not together!

HP: No, I meant you two said it 'together', that's funny.

Dane: They just mean that Sean frequently reminds us of his love of girls...

HP: I've caught on to that.

Ray: We just really appreciate anyone that comes to see our show, it's a party, the more people there the merrier, I say.

HP: Yes you guys do the show spot on! So, I'll just say check these guys out! They look, sound, move, and perform like Def Leppard. Make it a point to see Def Repplica's next concert.
